I think Ghostface made a great album here and he picked the write guests and producing for a theme. If you open up the the CD booklet, there's a comic book that explains the story behind the rhymes and words.

Ghost is older but that doesn't stop him from being the powerhouse he always is when he's on the mic and having excellent MC's like Pharahoe Monch, AZ, Kool G Rap, etc there aren't any bad verses on here just increases the quality of the songs all around. I actually think the Revelations singing "A Thin Line Between Love and Hate" sounded great and the female singing on "I Think I Made A Mistake" also sounded perfect. This is just a flawless rap album that is full of soul and I'm glad that Ghost isn't scared to go where he wants to go musically because it all pays off in a big way. If you were to compare this with "A Better Tomorrow", I think you can't compare them because they are both great in their own right. Wow, this concept album by GFK is superb! I can’t say enough about this album and it all blends together so well. GFK was on-point when he created this album. ‘I’m back after 9 years, that’s 36 seasons. ’ BUY THIS CD! With crisp and exciting production, this album showcases Ghostface's extraordinary skill for spoiling the listener with vivid imagery and lavish narration. Putting a modern spin on classic "BIaxploitation" themes of loss, struggle, love, betrayal, and redemption, the listener is drawn into the emotional life and death struggle of the album's protagonist. With such top notch storytelling, there will undoubtedly be comparisons to Slick Rick; not due to similarities in style, as both MCs are in their own classes, but due to how striking the imagery is and how lasting an imprint they make. Although many of the songs are great on their own, this concept album is best enjoyed as a full cinematic listen.

Simply superb! This is the most unbelievable Album produced by any Hip Hop Artist , I mean read the short story comic on the linear notes and then listen , OMG a total movie on MP3 , and if you know Park Hill , Stapleton then you will know that GF has poured out the greatest truth know to MusicKind , This is the total package , GOD is throughout this whole album and the Kids OMG the Kids there is so much teaching in this album for the Youth , The whole prison experience is brought to life on this album so its so much more than music , but its LIFE Ghostface is a excellent Hip Hop artist and is slightly underrated. This album is similar to "12 Reasons to Die" but honestly like this one way more. The storytelling, live instruments and performance from the band Revelations, Kool G Rap and AZ playing characters in the story- you can't ask for more.

Plus, the inside booklet is a comic of the story. Excellent project, Wu Tang Forever! Tell Yo Bros the same, WE NEED YOU! or Nas will be right u heard. Is it me or is Ghost only getting better with age?? I feel like Ghost had so much material from "twelve reasons to die" that it just spilled over into this album. Its like a blend of Pretty Toney with Twelve reasons to die and a dash of Supreme Clientele. Hope his next joint he puts a dash of Ironman on that joint.
